Third-Party Services
Although we do not use third-party cookies, some external services we use may set their own cookies when you interact with them:
Stripe (Payments)
When you process a payment, Stripe may set cookies to prevent fraud and secure your transaction. These cookies are managed directly by Stripe on their domain.
Tado (Devices)
When you authorize the connection with your tado° devices, their website may set cookies during the OAuth process.

You can configure your browser to reject all cookies or notify you when one is sent. However, if you disable cookies, you will not be able to use some features of our service.

Local Storage
In addition to cookies, we may use the browser's local storage (Local Storage) to improve your experience. Unlike cookies, this data is not sent to the server with each request.
Currently, Tado Control does not use Local Storage, but we may do so in the future to store interface preferences (dark/light theme, etc.).

We may update this Cookie Policy occasionally. We recommend reviewing it periodically. The last update date is shown at the top of this document.
If we introduce tracking or analytics cookies in the future, we will implement a cookie consent banner in accordance with applicable law.
